At Transautomobile, we don’t just sell and export tropical vehicles. We also consider the long-term impact of our activities, both in the field and within our own offices. Sustainable development is a shared responsibility – and we have chosen to embrace it concretely, at our level.

Robust and durable vehicles

Our specialty is tropicalized vehicles: pick-ups, trucks, 4x4s, buses and SUVs built to last, even in the most extreme conditions. Our clients don’t want to change vehicles every 3 years — they want strength, reliability, and durability.

By selecting proven models, easy to maintain, with a long lifespan and available parts, we promote a realistic approach to sustainability: less replacement, less waste, less unnecessary transport.

Spare parts: extend life, not throw away

We also offer a complete service of spare parts and accessories for all the vehicles we sell. This service is essential for our customers abroad, allowing them to repair instead of replace.

Preventive maintenance, quick parts availability, and our technical support are key to reducing the environmental impact of vehicles already in use.

Smarter logistics

We store our vehicles in the port of Antwerp, close to the docks, which allows us to:

• reduce kilometers travelled in Europe,
• optimize container or RoRo loading,
• minimize delays and transport emissions.

Each export is designed to be efficient, direct, and without unnecessary detours.

Eco-responsible offices

Our efforts don’t stop with the vehicles. In our offices, we’ve made concrete choices to reduce our environmental footprint:

• Our building is passive, well insulated, and energy-efficient.
• We print double-sided when possible, to reduce paper usage.
• We favor digital documents and processes, and avoid unnecessary printing.
• We recycle, and optimize or replace business travel with online meetings when appropriate.

This is a simple approach, but in line with our vision: doing things right, even on a small scale.

A transition to cleaner engines

We remain attentive to technical developments, and already offer:

• Euro 5 or Euro 6 tropicalized vehicles whenever possible,
• hybrid models or alternative fuels depending on the market,
• solutions for customers looking to reduce fuel consumption without compromising performance.

We believe in a reasonable transition, taking into account local realities, fuel access, and infrastructure.
